About us

Duffy Rich

Duffy, a California native, was born into a show business family. He attended college in Los Angeles, earning a degree in television and film production.
He began his career in music distribution and production, where he spent over a decade overseeing talent discovery and leading the turnaround of underperforming music labels. During this time, he worked with numerous successful artists and contributed to multiple multi-platinum records.
Drawn to television and film, Duffy transitioned into development and production, bringing his industry experience into unscripted programming. His credits include The Amazing Race and Survivor (both Emmy-nominated), as well as Storage Hunters, Mystery Diners, MasterChef, MasterChef Junior, Guy Fieri’s Grocery Games, Gordon Ramsay’s The F Word, Best New Restaurant, and the Below Deck franchise, including Below Deck, Below Deck Mediterranean, Below Deck Down Under, Below Deck Sailing Yacht, among others.

Erika Landin Rich

Erika Landin Rich is a Chicago native and a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and the recipient of the Paulette Goddard Scholarship. She began her career as a professional ballet, modern and contemporary dancer before transitioning into Pilates instruction. Her on-camera work includes the film Dance with Me, national commercial campaigns, and a cover feature for Femme Fatals magazine. Erika now specializes in reality television casting and development, with a track record of shaping some of the genre's most successful and award winning series. Her credits include Survivor, The Amazing Race, (both Emmy nominated) The Bachelor, MasterChef, MasterChef Junior, and the Below Deck franchise, including Below Deck, Below Deck Mediterranean, Below Deck Down Under, and Below Deck Sailing Yacht, among others, with Below Deck Mediterranean and Below Deck Down Under also receiving Emmy nominations.

Our Story

Richland Entertainment (RLE) was founded in 2011 by casting directors Erika Landin and Duffy Rich, a creative power couple whose shared vision and expertise in the entertainment industry led to the creation of a standout unscripted casting and development company.

RLE is an internationally active casting and development company with a strong reputation for delivering impactful programming. The company specializes in reality participants, docu drama series, series development, celebrity bookings, hosts, mentors, experts, and competition and game show contestant casting across all ages.

With deep experience across unscripted television, RLE is dedicated to identifying exceptional talent and developing compelling casts that help shape successful programming.
